Description

Antique vintage arch top wooden travel trunk box made around 1920 probably. It has hard wood slats bound with metal corner brackets, bordering fabric covered panels. Two side latches at the front and a lock, though we have no key, I'm afraid. Steel handles on the ends; the inside has its original striped paper lining Condition is pretty good structurally: it's sound and the lid shuts fine; cosmetically there are lots of bits and pieces; scuffs and scratches and so on. The fabric is a bit worn in places but generally not bad (see pics). Minor rust on some of the steel parts. The paper inside is a little flaky but useable. Dimensions: 92cm x 49cm x 55cm high
